Baseball Recap: Allen Takes a Loss

Allen was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They came up short against the Weleetka Outlaws, falling 12-4. The Mustangs were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Outlaws apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in April of 2023.

Allen saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Cruz Garrett, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI. Bodee Garrett also deserves some recognition as he got his first hits of the season.

Allen now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Weleetka, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 7-4.

Coming up, Allen will face off against Leedey at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. As for Weleetka, they will challenge Red Oak at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
