Baseball Recap: Derby Comes Up Short

Derby was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 10-4 to the Kennedy Eagles. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Eagles this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 10-1 back in April.

Derby saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jose Frias, who went 2-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI. Another was Nicholas Sheridan, who got on base in two of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Derby's defeat dropped their record down to 5-13. As for Kennedy, the win got them back to even at 5-5.

Coming up, Derby will challenge Crosby at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Kennedy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
