Foresthill took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning 70-25. The Wildfires have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Victory Christian unfortunately witnessed the end of their three-game winning streak on Tuesday. They fell 49-42 to Sacramento Waldorf.

Despite the loss, Victory Christian saw an underclassman step up: sophomore Luke Smith went 11 for 24 en route to 24 points and eight boards. The contest was Smith's 11th in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Daniel Kapelkin, who posted five points and seven rebounds.

Victory Christian's defeat dropped their record down to 15-7. As for Foresthill, their victory bumped their record up to 13-11.

Foresthill and Victory Christian were neck-and-neck in their previous meeting back in January, but Foresthill came up empty-handed after a 60-59 loss.
