Baseball Recap: St. Luke's Episcopal Comes Up Short

St. Luke's Episcopal had lost three straight at home, but on Wednesday they dropped down to 5-6 to make it four. They came up short against the Satsuma Gators, falling 15-1. Having soared to a lofty ten runs in the game before, the Wildcats couldn't push the score so high this time.

St. Luke's Episcopal saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Colton Duke, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.

As for Satsuma, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 11-5. The contest marked their most dominant win of the season so far.

On Satsuma's side, Cooper Crenshaw was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, three RBI, and two doubles. The team also got some help courtesy of Darius Kapua, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with four runs and one RBI.

Coming up, St. Luke's Episcopal will look to defend their home field on Friday against McGill-Toolen at 3:00 p.m. As for Satsuma, they will head out to take on Baldwin County at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
