Softball Recap: D'hanis Wins Going Away Against Sabinal

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Cole, D'Hanis was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They came out on top against the Sabinal Yellowjackets by a score of 20-17. That looming 20-17 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Cowboys yet this season.

Jessa Frosch was a standout: she went a perfect 4-for-4 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. Those two doubles gave her a new career-high. Jaeleigh Busse was another key player, scoring four runs while going 4-for-4.

Frosch wasn't the only one working in the hit department: D'Hanis kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 18 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.

The win snapped D'Hanis' losing streak at four games and leaves them with a 3-7 record. As for Sabinal, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-6.

D'Hanis didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next game, a 17-8 loss against Harper on the 25th. As for Sabinal, they have also already played their next match, a 14-2 defeat against La Pryor on the 25th.
