Soccer Game Preview: South San Antonio vs. Jay

The South San Antonio Bobcats will head out to face off against the Jay Mustangs at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. South San Antonio has a tough task ahead: they'll enter the matchup with three straight defeats, while Jay will come in with six straight wins.

South San Antonio is likely headed into the contest with a focus on the second half, which is when things went downhill against Southwest on Wednesday. South San Antonio fell just short of Southwest by a score of 2-1.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Jay). They blew past Southside 10-2 on Wednesday. The result was nothing new for the Mustangs, who have now won six games by three goals or more so far this season.

Jay pushed their record up to 7-2-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 17 goals over those three matches. As for South San Antonio, their loss dropped their record down to 4-8-1.
