Softball Recap: Eagleton College & Career Academy Find Success

Eagleton College & Career Academy's game last Wednesday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Wednesday. They came out on top against the South Greene Rebels by a score of 7-3.

Kyla Long spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered three earned runs on eight hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in four consecutive appearances.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Karli Brabson, who went 1-for-3 with two runs, one double, and one RBI. Graci Fenstemaker was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two RBI and one run.

Eagleton College & Career Academy's win bumped their record up to 20-15-1. As for South Greene, they moved to 11-5 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

As of now, neither Eagleton College & Career Academy nor the Rebels have any future games scheduled.
