Basketball Recap: Meridian Comes Up Short

Meridian played a tough contest on Thursday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They took a blow against the Tuscola Warriors, falling 62-32. The matchup marked the Hawks' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Meridian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-9. As for Tuscola, their win bumped their record up to an identical 12-9.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Shelbyville the next time they take the court. Meridian will host Shelbyville at 4:30 p.m. on Saturday, while Tuscola will head out to face them at 7:30 p.m. on Monday.
