 After a string of five wins, Berkshire's good fortune finally ran out  on Saturday. They took  a  10-7 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Harding Raiders. Berkshire was given a dose of their own medicine in this game as Harding apparently hadn't forgotten their  loss the last time these teams played  on Saturday.
  Whitney Davis made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored three  runs and  stole a base while going 3-for-4. She has been hot recently, having posted  at least one  stolen base the last seven times she's  played.  Kate Miller was another key contributor,  going 2-for-4 with a  triple, a  run,  and  an  RBI.
 On Harding's side,  Karly Trisler spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered four earned  (and three unearned) runs on eight hits and racked up seven Ks.
 On the hitting side,  Azarriah Phillips was  incredible,  going 3-for-3 with a  triple, a  stolen base,  and a  run. The team also got some help courtesy of  Ky'Ziya Minor, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases.
 Berkshire's defeat  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 7-7. As for Harding, their victory bumped their record up to 6-10.
 Both  squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Berkshire will take on Wickliffe at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Berkshire will be looking to keep their five-game home win streak  dating back to last season alive. Harding will take on Canfield at 5:00  p.m.  on Monday. Canfield's pitching crew has only allowed 1.9  runs per game  this season, so Harding's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
