Basketball Recap: Pacific Comes Up Short

Pacific lost against New Hope Christian back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. Pacific had to suffer through a 60-28 loss at the hands of the New Hope Christian Warriors.

New Hope Christian's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ava Barnett, who almost dropped a double-double on 31 points and nine rebounds. The match was Barnett's 16th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jordan Zumhofe, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and ten boards.

Pacific now has a losing record at 8-9. As for New Hope Christian, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Pacific has already played their next game, a 41-36 win against Camas Valley on the 31st. As for New Hope Christian, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 52-26 victory against Glendale on the 1st.
