Softball Recap: Jefferson Takes a Loss

Jefferson was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 21-1 to the Willamina Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Lions of the 30-7 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2019.

Jefferson's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Willamina, the win keeps they at an undefeated 7-0.

Jefferson didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next match, a 26-2 defeat against Taft on the 4th. As for Willamina, they have also already played their next contest, a 20-4 victory against Blanchet Catholic on the 4th.
