Basketball Game Preview: Copper Hills Grizzlies vs. Mountain Ridge Sentinels

Copper Hills is on a 19-game streak of home wins (dating back to last season), while Mountain Ridge is on a five-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Copper Hills Grizzlies will host the Mountain Ridge Sentinels at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Tuesday, Copper Hills really took it to Herriman for the full four quarters, racking up a 53-19 win. The Grizzlies have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won eight games by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Mountain Ridge faced Bingham in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. Mountain Ridge walked away with a 58-49 victory over Bingham.

Copper Hills is on a roll lately: they've won 12 of their last 13 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 55.5 points over those games. As for Mountain Ridge, their win bumped their record up to 15-7.
