Softball Recap: Dadeville Comes Up Short

Dadeville lost against Lee-Scott Academy back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Tigers took an 8-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Warriors. The Tigers have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Aziah Lockhart was cooking despite her team's loss, scoring a run and stealing two bases while going 2-for-4.

Dadeville's defeat dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 17-10-1 record this season.

Dadeville will head out to square off against Glenwood at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lee-Scott Academy, they will host Pike Liberal Arts at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 6.2 runs per game this season.
