Volleyball Recap: Chapman Takes a Loss

Chapman lost against Clay Center on Tuesday and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Irish fell 2-0 to the Tigers. The Irish have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

The final score came out to 25-17, 25-11.

Jai Rogers paced Chapman's offense, picking up five kills. Rogers got some help from Breslyn Francis and her five assists.

Chapman's defeat dropped their record down to 12-17. As for Clay Center, the win was the 13th in a row for them, bringing their record up to 27-2.

Chapman didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-0 loss against Rock Creek on the 11th. As for Clay Center, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Central Plains on the 9th.
