Recap: Potter-Dix Coyotes vs. Parkview Christian Patriots
Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but unfortunately for The Potter-Dix Coyotes, they weren't the ones who walked away with it. They were dealt a 51-0 defeat at the hands of Parkview Christian on Friday. Potter-Dix's loss signaled the end of their nine-game winning streak.
Brayden Kasten threw for 36 yards on three of six attempts. Landon Gasseling was his top target, picking up 31 receiving yards. On the ground, Dylan Tabor rushed for 65 yards on only six carries.
Parkview Christian's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Alexander Rohrbaugh led the charge by rushing for 130 yards and two touchdowns on only eight carries, while also picking up 39 receiving yards. Rohrbaugh's longest rush was for an incredible 75 yards. Brayden Bayliss was another key contributor, gaining 87 total yards and three touchdowns.
Potter-Dix's defeat dropped their record down to 9-1. As for Parkview Christian, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 8-2.
Potter-Dix does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parkview Christian will be staying on the road on Friday to face off against Hay Springs at 1:30 p.m. on November 10th. Hay Springs has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 336 points over their last six matches.
