Basketball Recap: Schuyler Comes Up Short

Schuyler lost against Seward back in January of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Schuyler Warriors had to suffer through a 56-11 loss at the hands of the Seward Bluejays. While losing is never fun, the Warriors can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Nebraska basketball rankings (they are ranked 173rd, while the Bluejays are ranked 37th).

Schuyler has been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season. As for Seward, they pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight at home.

Schuyler will challenge West Point-Beemer at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Seward, they will square off against Waverly at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
