Basketball Recap: West Carter Comes Up Short

West Carter lost against Rowan County back in February, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The West Carter Comets took a blow against the Rowan County Vikings, falling 59-29. The match marked the Comets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

This is the second loss in a row for West Carter and nudges their season record down to 2-4. As for Rowan County, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

West Carter will be home for the holidays to greet Powell County at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. As for Rowan County, they are taking a road trip to take on Pike County Central at 7:30 p.m. on Friday.
