Pine took a three-set loss the last time they faced off against Jupiter Christian, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Knights had just enough and edged out the Eagles 3-2. The victory was nothing new for the Knights as they're now sitting on eight straight.

Vitoria Claret paced Pine's offense, picking up 27 kills. Claret got some help from Talis Brinn and her 51 assists.

Tessa Cochran and Ella Murray certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Cochran had eight digs and three aces, while Murray had 12 digs. Cochran also put up an assist, which was her first of the season.

Pine's win bumped their record up to 8-2. As for Jupiter Christian, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-6.

Pine has already played their next match (against Morningside Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Jupiter Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-0 defeat against Jupiter on the 12th.
