Baseball Game Preview: Whitney Wildcats vs. West Trojans

For the second straight game, Whitney will face off against West. The Wildcats will be playing at home against the Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Whitney 3.4, West 3.7) so any runs scored will be well earned.

Last Tuesday, Whitney made easy work of West and carried off a 9-1 victory. Considering the Wildcats have won six matchups by more than five runs this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

For West's part, they saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Kason Klaus, who went 1-for-3 with one double and one RBI. That double was Klaus' first of the season.

West moved to 11-6-1 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak. As for Whitney, they now have a winning record of 9-8.
