Basketball Recap: Midland Comes Up Short

Midland lost to Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy back in February of 2025 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Rebels took a 56-46 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Tigers. The Rebels have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Midland's loss dropped their record down to 17-11. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 20-7.

Midland wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 74-53 win against Bell City on the 16th. As for Lafayette Renaissance Charter Academy, they will welcome Woodlawn-Shreveport at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
