It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Midlothian had no problem doing just that on Thursday. They never let the Lake Belton Broncos get on the board and left with a 3-0 win. The result was nothing new for Midlothian, who have now won nine games by three goals or more so far this season.

They hit Lake Belton with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Carson Gromacki, Preston Stanphill, and Charley Winkles.

The victory was the seventh in a row for Midlothian, bringing their record up to 15-4-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 33 goals over those seven contests. As for Lake Belton, they have been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-17-2 record this season.
