             St. Francis had to endure  an  eight-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. Everything went their way against the Bishop Alemany Warriors on Friday as the St. Francis Golden Knights made off with  a  37-13 victory. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest  win the Golden Knights have posted  since September 15, 2023.
 St. Francis had a senior duo take command as  Isaac Fajardo rushed for 135 yards and three touchdowns and  John Sanders threw for 141 yards and two touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes. Those 135  rushing yards gave  Fajardo a new career-high.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, St. Francis was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 202  rushing yards. That's the most  rushing yards they've managed all season.
 Bishop Alemany lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Gianni Haynes, who picked up 110 receiving yards and a touchdown. Bishop Alemany also got a significant boost from  Michael Boyd, who ran away from the competition to the tune of 93 yards.
 St. Francis' first  victory this season bumped their record up to 1-6. As for Bishop Alemany,  this is the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 5-2.
 St. Francis will welcome Paraclete  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. St. Francis is out to stop a three-game streak of losses at home. As for Bishop Alemany, they will head out on the road to  take on  St. Paul  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Bishop Alemany is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 30.6  points per game  this season.
