Basketball Recap: Carroll County Takes a Loss

After flying high against Christian Academy of Madison last Saturday, Carroll County came back down to earth. The Carroll County Panthers fell just short of the Trimble County Raiders by a score of 34-31 on Monday. The game marked the Panthers' lowest-scoring matchup so far this season.

Carroll County's defeat dropped their record down to 7-9. As for Trimble County, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 7-7.

A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Carroll County Panthers take on the Henry County Wildcats at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Trimble County, they will host Eminence at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Trimble County is facing Eminence at the right time seeing as Eminence is stuck on a five-game losing streak.
