Sunny Hills had won three straight games and Izzy Kim did her part to make it four on Tuesday. Everything went the Lancers' way against the Yorba Linda Mustangs as they made off with a 3-0 win for which the team can thank Kim, who had 12 digs and three assists. She is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in each of the last six games she's played.

One reason for the win was Sunny Hills' just kept getting better, winning each set by more points than the last. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-24, 25-22, 25-19.

Sunny Hills' record now sits at 16-5. As for Yorba Linda, their loss ended a three-match streak of away wins and brought them to 16-9-2.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Sunny Hills will take on rival Sonora at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Yorba Linda is set to face off against their familiar foe Cypress at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
