Gilbert is a perfect 10-0 against Brookland-Cayce since April of 2017 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Indians will venture away from home to face off against the Bearcats at 7:00 p.m. Gilbert will be looking to extend their current nine-game winning streak.

Meanwhile, Brookland-Cayce fell victim to Gray Collegiate Academy and their airtight pitching crew on Thursday. They lost 14-0 to the War Eagles. The Bearcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Gilbert's win was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 11-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 8.4 runs over those games. As for Brookland-Cayce, their loss dropped their record down to 1-10.

Everything went Gilbert's way against Brookland-Cayce in their previous matchup back in April of 2024, as Gilbert made off with a 13-0 win. Will the Indians repeat their success, or do the Bearcats have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
