Mt. Carmel won the last time they faced Lawrenceville and Elliott Acree did his part to make sure it happened again. The Golden Aces simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the Indians 42-15 with plenty of help from Acree, who rushed for 216 yards and three touchdowns while picking up 11.4 yards per carry. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 100.6 rushing yards per game.

Mt. Carmel now has a winning record of 5-4. As for Lawrenceville, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.

Coming up, Mt. Carmel will head out to challenge Tolono Unity at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Rockets will roll in looking for their seventh straight win, something the Golden Aces surely won't give up without a fight. Lawrenceville does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
