Baseball Game Preview: Tri-Valley Scotties vs. Philo Electrics

For the second straight game, Tri-Valley will face off against Philo. The Scotties will be playing at home against the Electrics at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Tri-Valley has three straight wins, Philo has six straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

Tri-Valley barely beat Philo the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Scotties put the hurt on the Electrics with a sharp 7-1 victory on Monday.

Brady Kaufman made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out nine over 5.1 innings pitched. Kaufman was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Isaiah Cullins, who scored a run while going 2-for-4. Another player making a difference was Kade Hindel, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.

Philo's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Tri-Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 3-0.
