Football Recap: Buchtel Beats Garfield for Their Third Straight Victory

Buchtel waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came within six points of losing the streak, but they secured a 12-6 W against the Garfield Rams. The Griffins have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Rams, too.

Buchtel's victory bumped their record up to 3-5. As for Garfield, they moved to 4-3 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Buchtel is set to square off against their familiar foe East at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Garfield will take on rival Ellet at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday.
