Draughn entered their tilt with Madison on Tuesday with eight consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with nine. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Patriots. This was payback for the Wildcats, who suffered a 5-4 defeat the last time these two teams met.

The team relied heavily on Gage Dula, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI and one double.

Draughn's victory was their seventh straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-5. Those home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Madison, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.

Madison wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next contest, a 6-5 defeat against Shelby on the 14th. Hopefully Draughn payed attention to the Patriots' game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Patriots at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
