Basketball Recap: Archer City Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Archer City duked it out withSeymour on Friday. The Archer City Wildcats lost to the Seymour Panthers at home by a 43-28 margin. While losing is never fun, the Wildcats can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 1327th, while the Panthers are ranked 286th).

Archer City's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Seymour, the win (which was their ninth in a row) raised their record to 22-3.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Electra the next time they take the court. Seymour will host Electra at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while Archer City will head out to face them at 7:45 p.m. on January 24th.
