Softball Recap: Bay Port Takes a Loss

Bay Port and Kaukauna squared off in some playoff action on Thursday, but Bay Port had to settle for second. They lost 7-0 to the Galloping Ghosts. Having soared to a lofty 20 runs in the game before, the Pirates' shutout was a dramatic turnaround.

Bay Port's defeat dropped their record down to 14-9. As for Kaukauna, the win keeps they at an undefeated 21-0.

Bay Port does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Kaukauna, they will take on Ashwaubenon on Tuesday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Galloping Ghosts 0.5, the Jaguars 1.2) so any runs scored will be well earned.
