Football Game Preview: Wellsville vs. Wayland-Cohocton

On Friday Wellsville take on Wayland-Cohocton at 7:30 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps rankings predict a close match.

Wellsville found themselves the reluctant recipients of an unpleasant 6-34 punch to the gut against Avon last Friday. Wellsville were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-27.

Meanwhile, Wayland-Cohocton came up short against Warsaw/Letchworth, falling 6-14. This makes it the second loss in a row for Wayland-Cohocton.

Given that they both suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. Neither of those teams managed to put together many points in their previous contest, so their meeting could be a low-scoring affair.
