Football Game Preview: Newberry Panthers vs. Williston Red Devils + Official Tickets

Two dominant backs in Kaleb Woods and Kameryn Manneh are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Newberry Panthers will welcome the Williston Red Devils at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the contest bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

On Friday, Newberry didn't have too much trouble with Fort White as they won 25-7. The victory continues a trend for the Panthers in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won six in a row.

Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Williston). They simply couldn't be stopped on Thursday as they easily beat Gainesville 65-21. The result was nothing new for the Red Devils, who have now won six games by 28 points or more so far this season.

The win got Newberry back to even at 4-4. As for Williston, their victory bumped their record up to 7-1.

Newberry strolled past Williston in their previous matchup back in October of 2024 by a score of 28-14. One of the biggest obstacles trying to stand in the way of that victory was the Red Devils' Jamari Williams, who rushed for 150 yards and one touchdown. Now that he won't be playing on Thursday, will it be easier for the Panthers to walk away with another win? There's only one way to find out.
