Basketball Recap: Brunswick Takes a Loss

Brunswick lost against Yorktown back in December of 2023 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Brunswick Railroaders lost 69-49 to the Yorktown Patriots. The match marked the Railroaders' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Brunswick's loss dropped their record down to 4-2. As for Yorktown, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 8-1.

Brunswick and Yorktown should be looking forward to their upcoming games as both have a sizable advantage in their respective state rankings. Brunswick (ranked 42nd) will meet Herndon (ranked 172nd) at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. Similarly, Yorktown (ranked seventh) will meet Middletown (ranked 113th) at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday.
