Volleyball Recap: Elmira Comes Up Short

Elmira lost against Windsor Central back in September and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Express took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Black Knights.

Elmira was was forced to take the loss, but they sure made Windsor Central work for it, especially in the second set. The final score came out to 25-22, 26-24, 23-25, 25-12.

Elmira's defeat dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Windsor Central, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 15-3.

Coming up, Elmira will take on Corning-Painted Post at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Windsor Central, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 2-2 draw against Oneonta on the 14th.
