Softball Recap: Northwest Takes a Loss

Northwest was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 35th straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the To'hajiilee Warriors, falling 19-6. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Warriors this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 23-7 on Thursday.

Northwest's defeat dropped their record down to 0-17. As for To'hajiilee, they pushed their record up to 4-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Northwest is set to square off against their familiar foe Hozho Academy at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, To'hajiilee will challenge rival Rehoboth Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
