Football Game Recap: Florence-Carlton vs. Powell County

Powell County were out to avenge their 7-44 defeat to Florence-Carlton from the last time they squared off against one another, but they had no such luck. Powell County didn't finish too far behind, but the team still lost 20-26 to Florence-Carlton on Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Powell County.

The loss dropped Powell County's record to 1-4. The win bumped Florence-Carlton's record up to 5-1.

Powell County will take on Thompson Falls at home at 7:00 PM next week. Both of those teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'. As for Florence-Carlton, they will face off against Lincoln County. Since neither squad is a stranger to landslide victories this season, you'd better bet it will be hard-fought showdown.
