Soccer Recap: Millennium Takes a Loss

Millennium was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were one goals away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Highland Hawks. The Tigers were not able to make up for their defeat to the Hawks from their previous meeting back in December of 2017.

Millennium's loss dropped their record down to 1-4-1. As for Highland, they moved to 1-3-1 with that victory, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Millennium will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Alhambra at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. Highland also won't see the pitch for a while: their next match is against Chaparral at 6:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025.
