 On Thursday, the Panguitch Bobcats fell victim to a  tough 12-2 defeat at the hands of the South Sevier Rams. That's two games in a row now that Panguitch has lost by  exactly ten  runs.
 Panguitch saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Katie Hatch, who  scored a  run while going 1-for-3.
 On South Sevier's side,  Kaitlyn Lynch spent all six innings played on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned  (and one unearned) run on five hits. Lynch has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 On the hitting side,  Tessa Woolsey and  Kinsey Parsons did most of the damage at the plate:  Woolsey  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-3, while  Parsons  went 1-for-3 with a  home run, three  RBI,  and two  runs. Another player making a difference was  Caitlin Nielson, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 3-for-4.
 Panguitch has  traveled a rocky road recently having  lost five of their last six matches,  which put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record  this season. As for South Sevier, their win bumped their record up to 11-4.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Panguitch will take on Kanab at 3:30  p.m.  on Monday. As for South Sevier, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Beaver at 3:30  p.m.  on Friday. South Sevier's pitching crew has only allowed 3.9  runs per game  this season, so Beaver's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
