Volleyball Recap: Pacific Collegiate Comes Up Short

Pacific Collegiate extended their losing streak to seven on Monday, dropping their season record down to 0-7 in the process. They came up short against the Rancho San Juan Trailblazers, falling 3-0. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Trailblazers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-2 back in March.

As for Rancho San Juan, their victory bumped their record up to 13-14. They not only won on Monday, but they posted their biggest win since March 24th (when they won 3-0).

Austin Valdez was the offensive standout of the game as he had 18 digs and one assist. Devin Francisco also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

Pacific Collegiate has already played their next match (against Everett Alvarez), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Rancho San Juan, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-2 win against Marina on the 16th.
