Volleyball Recap: Wylie East Comes Up Short

Wylie East was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were a single set away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Prosper Eagles. The Raiders were not able to make up for their loss to the Eagles from their previous meeting back in October of 2015.

Wylie East's defeat dropped their record down to 3-9. As for Prosper, the victory got them back to even at 9-9.

Coincidentally, Wylie East and Prosper will both be playing Liberty the next time they take the court. The Eagles will host the Redhawks at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Raiders will head out to face them at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
