Recap: Tongue River Eagles vs. Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers
The Tongue River Eagles extended their postseason success on Saturday against the Lingle-Fort Laramie Doggers. They managed a 45-40 victory over the Doggers. Winning may never get old, but Tongue River sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Several Doggers players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Natalie Speckner, who almost dropped a double-double on 14 points and nine rebounds. Speckner has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 12 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Skyla Wunder, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and three steals.
Tongue River's win bumped their record up to 21-3. As for Lingle-Fort Laramie, their defeat dropped their record down to 20-5.
Tongue River does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Lingle-Fort Laramie also has no future games currently scheduled.
