Basketball Recap: Gladbrook-Reinbeck Skates Past Union with Ease

Gladbrook-Reinbeck waltzed into their contest on Monday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They breezed past the Union Knights to the tune of 71-28. Given the Rebels' advantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 79th, while the Knights are ranked 314th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

Gladbrook-Reinbeck's win bumped their record up to 18-3. As for Union, they dropped their record down to 2-18 with the defeat, which was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Gladbrook-Reinbeck will venture away from home to take on B-G-M on February 18th. As for Union, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 61-24 loss against West Marshall on the 15th.
