Astronaut scored the most points they've had this season on Friday, but it wasn't enough. They fell just short of the Lake Mary Prep Griffins by a score of 63-61. The War Eagles were not able to make up for their defeat to the Griffins from their previous meeting back in December of 2014.

Astronaut has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-10 record this season. As for Lake Mary Prep, their victory bumped their record up to 7-4.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Astronaut will welcome Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Mary Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Winter Springs at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
