After flying high against UR Academy on Friday, NorthPoint Christian Academy came back down to earth. The NightHawks lost 3-0 to the Walnut Grove Christian Christian Warriors on Tuesday. The NightHawks' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

The final score came out to 25-21, 25-21, 25-7.

Connolly Clayton paced NorthPoint Christian Academy's offense, picking up eight kills. Clayton got some help from Abbey Marvin and her five assists. Addison Garlinski controlled things from the service line, finishing with five aces.

NorthPoint Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Walnut Grove Christian, the victory was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 10-9.

Looking ahead, after both having extra time off, NorthPoint Christian Academy and HOPE Academy will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:30 p.m. on the 16th. As for Walnut Grove Christian, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-1 loss against Liberty Preparatory Christian Academy on the 9th.
