Heritage Christian waltzed into their contest on Saturday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They put the hurt on the Eastern Hancock Royals with a sharp 13-4 victory. The Eagles might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won eight matchups by six runs or more this season.

Isaac Marshall was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, four RBI, and two runs. Those three hits gave him a new career-high. Jake Meriwether was another key player, going 3-for-4 with two runs and one triple.

Heritage Christian always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .529. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Eastern Hancock only posted an OBP of .375.

Heritage Christian's win bumped their record up to 11-6-1. As for Eastern Hancock, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 10-5.

The teams wasted no time getting back out on the field as they've already faced off again: they played to a 0-0 draw later that day.
