Baseball Game Preview: Asheville Cougars vs. McDowell Titans

For the second straight game, Asheville will face off against McDowell. The Cougars will challenge the Titans at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.

Last Tuesday, Asheville was able to grind out a solid victory over McDowell, taking the game 10-5. The win continues a trend for the Cougars in their matchups with the Titans: they've now won eight in a row.

For McDowell's part, they saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Keller Bradley, who scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Jacob Davis was another, scoring a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Asheville's victory bumped their record up to 10-4. As for McDowell, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 7-8.
