Marquez came tearing into Monday's match with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Elizabeth Bulldogs 3-0. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Gladiators also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Marquez walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the first set). Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-10, 25-17, 25-20.

Marquez pushed their record up to 12-5 with the victory, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Elizabeth, their loss dropped their record down to 1-6.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Marquez will challenge rival Torres at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Elizabeth is set to face off against their familiar foe Sotomayor at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
