Haddon Heights had already won six in a row and they went ahead and made it seven on Wednesday. They came within a single run of losing the streak, but they secured an 8-7 W against the Pennsville Memorial Eagles. That's more bragging rights for the Garnets, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Haddon Heights pushed their record up to 8-3 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.2 runs on average over those games. As for Pennsville Memorial, their loss ended a 14-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 12-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Haddon Heights will host Gateway Regional at 10:00 a.m. on Friday. As for Pennsville Memorial, they will square off against Gloucester Catholic at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
