Soccer Recap: Crossville Takes a Loss

The home team had come away the winner the last seven times Crossville and Boaz had met, but sadly for the fans who attended this one that wasn't the case. The Lions took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates on Thursday. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against Boaz this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-0 back in March.

Crossville's defeat was their third straight at home, which dropped their record down to 8-10-1. As for Boaz, their win bumped their record up to 10-7-2.

Crossville didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next contest, a 4-1 loss against Moody on the 18th. Boaz has also already played their next matchup (against Brewer), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
